Our Story

Hi, I'm Shawn. A college student and a Aviculturist with years of experience breeding Cockatiels and a passion for birds, my hobby is helping others find the perfect pet. Since Cockatiels require minimal care, are budget-friendly, and make great first pets, they're what I specialize in. If you have other needs or questions though, feel free to call me anytime for advice! Just keep in mind that as a breeder rather than shop owner reservations must be made by phone before stopping by.

Our aviary is proud to present a variety of hand-raised baby birds. Book your visit now to bring home the perfect feathered friend!

Cockatiels...

A very controversial species. You might ask why Shawn, why are cockatiels a controversial species? Well, cockatiels not only produce a lot of dander (dust) but can also carry many diseases that can pass to larger birds and even other cockatiels. Now are there cockatiels out there that are healthy, absolutely there are plenty of breeders out there that test their flock and clear their birds from it. Now that we have the downsides of a cockatiel out of the way let's begin with the couple of many good things I have for them. Cockatiels are phenomenal first-time pets, they live for 30+ years, budget-friendly, have low maintenance, generally don't pick one person, and the list goes on. Although I specialize in them, I am not being biased I believe cockatiels make better pets than any other smaller species of birds. I've had cockatiels, conures, canaries, parakeets, love birds, and finches but nothing comes close to a cockatiel. Oh and let me not forget to tell you guys, cockatiels can talk ( I thought I'd throw that in there since nowadays that's what everyone cares about). I wanted to educate some people on this species and maybe persuade some of my bird friends to like this species again
